Ill have to admit, they do seem to have good quality book cases, and other furniture.but there are always others. I could only give GA a good score, because while the employee/owner were inside, I could only get a look from the outside of the bldg. Ill go somewhere else where they want my business.at least the women I met from Architecture Salvage nearby were extremely helpful in helping me find this location. Its a real shame.came a far distance to spend some serious cash. After reading these comments, it makes it perfectly clear, they need to take a good look at their business and decide.stay in business, or have going out of business sale soon. Didnt bother to come to the front door, or even make an effort. With no one bothering to answer the phone at five minutes til four, I began to pull into the lot (I think there are 2-3 bldgs), someone was in massive hurry to get out of the parking lot, while another was still inside (btw, I saw your Benz by the back exit door parked near the bldg). I drove a far distance, called GA many times to see what time they were closing as I rushed to get to the location while fighting traffic. Its a lesson learned for me at the expense of my wallet.įirst impressions are the always most important. I will not recommend anyone I know or talk too, to go to this store.

I will not support this business of lies and shady sales techniques. That being said, I will never return to this place ever again. They were asking $50-$100 a piece and were made in China! Im pissed that I allowed myself to be tricked and pressured.

#GASLIGHT ANTIQUES WINDOWS#

Low and behold there were several vendors selling the same and similar windows by the dozens. Well today I went to an antique festival. Well, I fell for it and purchased the window she claimed to be vintage for $250 giving me a $25 discount. As I walked around she used the high pressure sales technique on me like a used car salesman. However I noticed the inlay of the signs in the glass appeared flawless. I inspected the window and it appeared to be old. However she didnt have anything to back the story up. She gave me a story about it coming from an insane asylum in upstate NY. I explained Im interested in pieces that were unique and on the macabre side. As I walked around the owners wife followed me and asked a lot of questions trying to help me find something unique. The store was over flowing with nice pieces. When I walked in the door the owners wife was there and greeted me. I went to the Store about three months ago.
